Neurological physiotherapy services to help you regain function and improve your independence.
We are two physiotherapists who met while working in Kingston, Ontario, and noticed a significant gap in home based physiotherapy services for individuals with neurological conditions. Inspired to make a difference, we created a practice dedicated to minimizing this disparity by providing accessible, high-quality care. We hope to empower individuals with neurological conditions to regain control of their health.
At Neurologix Rehabilitation, we begin with a comprehensive initial assessment and develop a personalized treatment plan, followed by regular re-assessments to ensure you’re making progress toward your goals. We offer a wide range of physiotherapy services, including balance, endurance, functional strength training, stretching and hydrotherapy. Our goal is to provide the care and support you need to return to your daily activities with confidence and independence.
We provide care for individuals with a variety of neurological conditions, including but not limited to Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Additionally, we support recovery following various surgical procedures, such as spinal surgeries (laminectomy, fusion, discectomy) and brain surgeries (craniotomy, tumour resections). Physiotherapy services are covered by most insurance companies without a physician's referral.
Your assessment and treatment can be arranged in a setting that suits you best, whether that’s your home, a local gym, a community pool, or another location of your choice.
I am an enthusiastic physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals regain independence and return to meaningful activities. I earned a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Kinesiology from Queen's University in 2018, followed by a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2021.
With experience working across a variety of settings, including community, outpatient, and inpatient environments, I specialize in treating individuals with neurological conditions. I am trained in the Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) approach and have had the privilege of learning from and collaborating with others who share expertise in this method. My approach to physiotherapy is both empathetic and creative, tailoring treatment plans to meet the needs of each client. I focus on providing functional, individualized services that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy hiking, biking, trying new recipes, reading a good book, and thrift hunting.
I am a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong foundation in human movement and rehabilitation. After completing my undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2018, I went on to earn my Master’s in Physical Therapy from Western University in 2020.
My passion for helping others stems from my belief in the power of individualized care and the impact it can have on a person's recovery and quality of life. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based physiotherapy treatment tailored to each patient's unique needs. With a focus on promoting mobility, independence, and overall well-being, I strive to empower clients to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.
I have a special interest in and have taken courses in hydrotherapy with CARI (Canadian Aquatic Rehab Instructors).
Outside of work, I love being in nature- including camping, paddle boarding, finding new lakes and trails to explore, as well as spending time with family and friends.
